Hi everyone – long may the Spuffy love continue!
Today is my day for posting, and I have 2 entries to share. Both are art work, and this first one, here, at my journal are some banners. They are something I am less comfortable with, but have managed to make some Spuffy-love … I hope you enjoy.

Notes: I did a Tarot reading based on Buffy’s questions to Tara at the end of “Dead Things” (Why do I let Spike do those things to me? etc.), and the plan was I’d then make a Spuffy version of each card in the spread. I only managed to make two pieces of artwork, which might be for the best, as Spike’s presence would be even fainter in the other three.

Spike had released her, not willingly, but he knew he couldn’t hold her. What had that meant? That kiss? He had to find out, but he had to be smart about this. Not just run in in a billow of smoke and demand answers. That wouldn’t do at all. He needed a plan. A good plan. This was too important to bugger up.

Notes: It’s already Sunday where I live, so it’s our second free-for-all day, and I’m here with my artistic vision of season 6 as a kitten cuddle pile! Okay, that’s only the second banner. The first is romantic but not happy.
Both banners are based on the lyrics of “Counting Stars” by OneRepublic, and mayybe I wanted to try song-inspired artwork because of that cool challenge on BuffyForums.

It’s brighter than the fire… blinding.” – First Slayer to Buffy (season 5)I always particularly liked the fire metaphor when it comes to Buffy and love. The way the first slayer chose to word it by saying that her love was “brighter than the fire“. When Buffy said she wanted “the fire back” in Once More, With Feeling. Spike who describes great love as something that “burns and consumes” in Seeing Red. And of course, the final scene in Chosen, in which Buffy metaphorically got the fire back, when she opens herself to (romantic) love again. I thought it was a beautiful theme regarding their relationship, so here’s a banner about it :)

Hi everybody! First of all, sorry I’m a little late, I made some icons for this round. As we all noticed, after photobucket decided to block the links on third-party sites, every corner of the fandom was affected so I was not the exception. I’m changing the links ohlord but obviously it’s affected all. You know, I’m sad for everything we lost, it’s a catastrophe of multiple proportions. I will try to change it as fast as I can, I hope you can forgive me for not being able to do it before. I’ll be around, reading your fanfic with my drama queen crown on my head.
